GPS ProMark 500 RTK System

The New Magellan Promark 500 is the fastest, lightest most capable RTK system available. It’s IPX-7 WaterProof and Impact resistant design make PM-500 a reliable choice in any field condition. PM-500 is an upgradeable 1^st in class 75 Channel Multi-Constellation Receiver. The only Receiver using patented Z-Tracking and “Blade Fixing Technology” from Magellan. It has every communication option available, including Bluetooth, USB Dongle Ports, an optional Network Modem  for Long Range RTK , built-in long range Rover radio, High power 3-5 Mile Base Radio, as well as a  Precision Static Survey Capability second to none.

 The Promark 500 uses (3) Satellite constellations for superior speed and accuracy. The STD USA GPS System,  Glonass & WASS system are all tracked by this Promark-500 system. This  means that PM-500 can work in  poor GPS conditions when other brands can’t get it done.  PM-500 will even up-grade to the expected European “Galileo” satellite system when it comes on-line in 2012 or so.  The included MMCX W/FAST Field computer is  rugged and feature rich. The software was developed by “Carlson” for Magellan, it has all the power of SurvCE plus extra Magellan features. This Field computer is also a stand alone sub-meter realtime GPS. The Surveying software for the RTK is identical in the sub-meter mode, just switch model from PM-500 to On-Board GPS and map or stake-out data to the 3 foot accuracy level, great for reconnaissance or wetland location.  With complete COGO , Total Station functions, Wireless Bluetooth and a  SD Card Slot,  the MMCX W/FAST is an outstanding tool to have in your arsenal.
